This area is a haven for keen walkers and cyclists, with nearby footpaths leading through verdant countryside as well as easy access to the Round The Island cycle route. By car there is easy access to the western side of the island with its tranquil sandy coves and downland walks, or perhaps visit the nearby Newtown National Nature Reserve an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a wonderful spot for enjoying breath taking walks or for a spot of bird watching. A few minutes drive in an easterly direction, combined with taking the Floating Bridge ferry from West to East Cowes leads up to Osborne House the former Island home of Queen Victoria. From the gravel parking area a short path leads to the entrance into this self contained single storey property, built circa 1804 and newly renovated in 2018. It is centrally heated and has been finished and equipped to a high standard. Step into the inviting open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is a bright and airy space cleverly divided into sociable areas, with characterful beams to be admired (restricted head height in some areas). The lounge area is the ideal spot to relax with a good book or perhaps unwind with your four legged friend and watch a film on the TV/DVD. The kitchen area is well equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and washer/dryer. There is a comfortable dining space opposite, perfect for relaxed meals. Heading across the lounge you will find the pretty super king size bedroom. Just opposite is a stylish shower room with shower, basin and WC, which completes the accommodation. Please note due to the age of the dairy and changes in floor height there is a slope running the length of the property between the walkway and the lounge/bedroom areas. Heading outside from the lounge/kitchen/diner you will find a small terrace and lawned area to the front of the property, which has garden furniture ideal for taking your morning coffee or enjoying an early evening sundowner. Off road parking space for one car is available to the front of the property close to the property entrance. Wi fi Internet is available at this property.
