Further Details

Enjoy a leisurely walk along the disused railway line to Holt, where you will find an abundance of independent shops, galleries, and cafes, or head 4 miles to nearby Weybourne and relax on its pebbled beach. Enter the cottage through the side door and you will find yourself in the utility room, which houses a washing machine and dishwasher. Step into the adjoining kitchen, which still has the butcher s hook from when the village farmer would sell his home reared meat from here. The kitchen is otherwise modern, with a larder fridge/freezer, electric oven and microwave. From here, the property naturally draws you towards the inglenook open fire in the living room, which was uncovered during a previous renovation to the owners delight; there is now a wood burner in situ, perfect for those cool winter nights in front of the TV. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom and a shower room with WC. Heading up the cottage style stairs, hidden behind an original ledge and brace door in the lounge, you will find yourself in the spacious first floor suite, complete with king size bed and a bathroom with WC. There is also a second lounge area boasting views over the river meadows. Outside, the cottage has delightful gardens to the front and rear. In the rear, relax in the south facing enclosed lawns and breathe in the fresh country air. The front is where you will find parking for one car (or two smaller cars), beside a divine scented rosebed..
