Beyond the village lies the glorious sight of the North York Moors, with heather covered hills, ancient woodlands and beautiful rivers. The Yorkshire coast is about thirty miles away, or you could head inland to Castle Howard (15 miles) or the North Riding Forest Park (17.5 miles). Entering this attractive cottage, you will find a bright and welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The generous and comfortable lounge features plenty of seating and a warming wood burner, making this an ideal spot to curl up with a good book or watch a movie on the TV/DVD. There's also a choice of books and magazines to browse. You will find a pleasant dining area, and the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Going upstairs, there are two cosy bedrooms a king size room with an en suite shower room, and a bedroom with both a single and a double bed. Both bedrooms enjoy uninterrupted views over the garden and the moor. There is also a family bathroom complete with a shower over the bath. To the front of the cottage is a peaceful courtyard, and to the rear you will find a large and idyllic country garden with a generous manicured lawn.
