The property is located less than a mile from the historic market town of Bridport which boasts and array of eateries, vintage shops and markets. The cottage is also only a mile from the beautiful coast at West Bay where you can peruse the working harbour, have a drink in one of the many cafes, or take a boat tour to learn more about the heritage Jurassic coastline. This delightful cottage is entered up two steps into a hall with a beautiful flagstone floor. The open plan kitchen/sitting/dining room is a warm and inviting space which encourages family life and social dining. All mod cons are present in the kitchen, with just a hint of the age of the property coming from the oak and flagstone floors. Also on this floor is a utility room with a door leading to the garden and, up one step, a shower room with a WC. Heading upstairs to the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one is a spacious king size boasting a Victorian fireplace and a Smart TV and the other is a cosy double bedroom overlooking the rear garden. Completing the first floor and up one step is a family bathroom which has a bath, handheld shower and WC. On the second floor, via a spiral staircase with open tread is the single bedroom with double aspect windows and views of the distant hills and garden. There is reduced ceiling height in this room as it is located in the eaves of the house. The property has a rear enclosed flagstone courtyard which is planted with scented honeysuckle and colourful ferns. From here there are 12 steps up to the charming sloping garden with its beautiful flower beds containing a rainbow of flowers to shrubbery and trees. The terrace has a lovely view of the garden with its flower filled borders. For those who love to eat alfresco, there is a charcoal BBQ available for use at the property..
