For lovers of the outdoors there are endless networks of walks and cycle routes leading from the property, with a choice of country pubs within easy reach. The hamlet of Muchelney, home to historic Muchelney Abbey is well worth a visit too and is cared for by English Heritage. Lovers of history can also explore several National Trust Estates including Barrington Court and Lytes Carey. For the golfers, there is a pay as you play golf course just 10 minutes away in Long Sutton. From the parking area a short flight of steps leads you to the private entrance into the West Wing of Midelney Manor. From here you are met with a hallway leading firstly to a utility room complete with WC and washing machine on the left. Heading to the right you will find a charming open plan kitchen/diner. This room is the perfect space in which to enjoy leisurely meals together.
