Golfers will also be delighted with the area boasting a number of fantastic local and links courses, including the championship course at Carnoustie. Located 12 miles from the historic famous town of Kirriemuir. That was the birthplace of J M Barrie, author of Peter Pan and Bon Scott of the Rock group ACDC. Stepping into the lodge, you will find two double bedrooms on the ground floor which provide a warm and cosy space for a good night s rest, both benefit from an en suite shower room and WC, so no queues for a shower in the morning. Also, on the ground floor is the sauna which is a real treat and will soothe those achy legs after a day hiking the hills. Heading upstairs, the first floor is home to the lounge/kitchen/diner is impressive with French doors leading onto a large balcony which offers magnificent views over the surrounding glens.
