The vintage steam railway is a stones throw and during the summer and autumn you can watch it chug past with all the nostalgia the sight of a steam train brings. For the historians, why not step back into forest history at The Dean Heritage Centre, the Hopewell Colliery and Clearwell Caves; and for family fun, why not visit Perrygrove Railways, Puzzlewood and Go Ape! If you find time to explore a little further afield, Symonds Yat is great for rock climbing, river walks, kayaking and caving. The property is set over three floors.
