For a less strenuous stroll, walk to the picturesque church of St Mary s to begin a wonderful woodland walk along the Afon Cynrig, which is adorned with seasonal snowdrops and bluebells. Cyclists will enjoy following the famous 55 mile long Taff Trail, while equestrians should head for Cantref Riding Centre, only 1 mile away. Stock up on supplies in the cathedral town of Brecon (4 miles), which offers a good choice of supermarkets, shops and eateries.
