Local attractions include the remains of ancient Brecon Y Gaer and Pen y Crug forts (3.5 miles), Llangorse Lake (11 miles) and Talgarth Mill (12 miles). The friendly market town of Brecon (4 miles) is set in the lee of the mountains with the rivers Usk and Honddu running through it. Brecon has a host of great places to eat and drink as well as a cathedral, a 1930s style cinema, an excellent theatre, a range of shops and a leisure centre complete with swimming pool.
