The 19th century property sleeps seven guests in four bedrooms. The rural location of the house makes it ideal for nature watching, as well as long walks and mountain bike rides. Immerse yourselves in the tranquillity of the valley then head 6 miles to Llandovery to go shopping, eat out or ponder over a cup of tea or coffee in a cafe. From Llandovery, follow the River Towy into the Cambrian Mountains. Visit the RSPB Nature Reserve at Gwenffrwd Dinas, approximately 4 miles from the cottage. Let yourselves into the cottage and find a traditional, welcoming country home, complete with original exposed beams. Hang your coats and leave your wellies and walking boots in the hall then make your way into the lounge. Lay a fire in the wood burner in the stone inglenook fireplace ready to light after returning home from a long walk. Choose a DVD or video to watch on the TV or perhaps gather together to play a game. The kitchen is an equally inviting space and has everything you need to prepare hearty meals for your party, including a five ring gas hob with large oven, large upright fridge with half freezer, dishwasher, Belfast sink, and washing machine. Dine at the table in here or in the dining room, with its beamed ceiling. The wet room with WC is on this level. Follow the original wooden staircase up to the first floor, where three of your bedrooms (a single, twin and double) and a family bathroom, which has a bath with hand held shower over, and WC, are located. Climb another staircase up to the attic, where the master double bedroom nestles beneath a sloping, beamed ceiling, which is low in places. Enjoy the luxury of having a free standing bath within this room, where you can indulge in a long, hot soak. Please note, the roof of this farmhouse is a protected roost for bats who sneak into the house in the summer months. Spill out into the large, natural garden here as often as the weather allows. Soak up the sunshine on the patio with a glass of chilled wine and the weekend newspapers. There is plenty of space for parking at the cottage..
