Historic market town Brecon is just 6 miles away, where you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the canal towpath or start the more challenging Taff Trail, which stretches 55 miles along the Taff river down to Cardiff. Kids will be happy at the Cantref Adventure Farm (8.5 miles), while the more adrenaline hungry among you can give the activities at Llangorse Multi Activity Centre (13 miles) a try. Hang up your coats and shoes in the large hallway before heading to the spacious kitchen/diner, where exposed beams and pretty hanging lights mix the traditional and contemporary together perfectly. You ll actually enjoy washing up looking out to the garden at the Belfast sink after cooking up a hearty meal for everyone. There s a utility room off the kitchen/diner that houses a washing machine and WC. Head up the curved staircase to the comfortable lounge, benefitting from fabulous views of the River Usk and warm lighting to keep you feeling cosy whatever the weather.
