The Upper Towy Valley has gorgeous scenery for you to explore, with nearby landmarks and attractions including the stunning Llyn Brianne Reservoir (4.5 miles), the Dolaucothi Gold Mines (10.5 miles), the Cynghordy Viaduct (4.5 miles), Crychan Forest (12 miles), RSPB Gwenffrwd Dinas (3.5 miles) and the Sugar Loaf Viewpoint (9 miles). There are opportunities for mountain biking, fishing and birdwatching, or you could head to the market town of Llandovery (7 miles) which marks the start of the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park.
