Nature lovers might spot red kites and buzzards, and there are plenty of outdoor activities to pursue throughout the region including gliding, sailing, pony trekking and horse riding. The bustling and historic market town of Crickhowell is within easy reach (9 miles) and offers a range of great independent shops, pubs and restaurants, or you can head to the picturesque town of Talgarth (3 miles) whose history dates back some 6,000 years. Hay on Wye is also nearby (12 miles). Entering this inviting, traditional stone built cottage, you will find the beautifully decorated lounge which is a lovely space to relax in at the end of a wonderful day. With SkyTV, DVD, plenty of comfortable seating and a roaring wood burner, the lounge is perfect for sitting back, catching up with a good book or snuggling up to watch a favourite movie. The room features a high vaulted ceiling with beams, as well as wooden floors and panelling. The stylish kitchen offers a range of equipment including an electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. You can sit back and enjoy a family meal in the light filled dining room which offers glorious views across the beautiful private enclosed garden. The ground floor also features a delightful twin bedroom. A couple of steps lead to a WC. Heading up to the first floor, you will find the light and airy master bedroom which has a cosy double bed and a low, sloping beamed ceiling. The property also has a lovely low ceilinged bathroom on the first floor with bath, hand held shower and WC. Stepping outside, the large private garden features plenty of garden furniture and provides a delightful space to enjoy a BBQ or for children to play. Ample off road parking is available. You will also be welcome to meet the alpacas which live in a field opposite the cottage, and you ll also see chickens scratching around outside. The owners sell alpaca fleece, and visitors in April and May can see newborn alpaca babies taking their first steps..
