The market town of Barnstaple is just 4 miles away, and there you can explore the pannier market, browse the plethora of high street and independent shops, watch a show at the theatre or take a dip in the swimming pool if it's not beach weather. If you re the outdoors type, there is a wide range of activities, such as surfing, canoeing and horse riding right on the doorstep, plus both Exmoor and Dartmoor are close, and perfect for hiking. If you fancy trying a spot of golf, Great Torrington Golf Course is easily reached by car, and other attractions nearby include Dartington Crystal, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep. Enter this lovely cottage through its oak porch to the entrance hallway. From here, head to the right and you will find a spacious kitchen/dining area with French doors leading to the enclosed garden.
