A boat trip to the Farne Islands will introduce you to the local seal population and amazing birdlife, including puffins in certain months and, occasionally, a pod of dolphins. Coastal paths take you to Bamburgh s iconic castle and glorious beach, and Beadnell Bay for water sports like kitesurfing. You could also enjoy a stroll towards Embleton Beach and Dunstanburgh Castle or a picnic in the dunes. Cross the causeway to visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne or head further north to Berwick on Tweed.
