There is a beautiful circular walk in Towton, this historical walk explores the site of the Battle of Towton (War of The Roses). Head out to the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Moors, stunningly beautiful in all seasons which are a short drive away. Alternatively, Harrogate, York and Leeds are nearby and provide an abundance of attractions.
