Stroll along the riverbanks of the sparkling Tyne and spot the leaping salmon in autumn and there are two local golf clubs to try. Drive to the pretty village of Corbridge for some excellent shopping and roam history and a must visit is Hadrian's Wall at the edge of the National Park. Enter through the front door into the dual aspect, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. You will find a comfortable sofa and easy chair with a footstool to relax back on after a day out in the fresh air exploring the area, you can also catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV.
