Plenty of relaxation and family entertainment are a short walk away, as well as a wide range of water sports including kite surfing, sailing, paddle boarding and windsurfing. A short drive away is the charming medieval town of Rye, home to quaint cobbled streets, independent shops, a Kino boutique cinema and some good antique shops in which to while away an afternoon browsing vintage finds. For those looking to venture slightly further afield, Dungeness Nature Reserve offers big skies, striking scenery and contemporary architecture plus a miniature steam railway. Visit Derek Jarman s coastal garden and buy fresh fish direct from the boats. There is an abundance of castles, gardens, and family attractions to visit within a short drive including Rye Citadel, Rye Harbour nature reserve, Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter House and Gardens, Port Lympe Safari Park and Lydd Aqua Park. Hastings Old Town and trendy St Leonard s are a half hour s drive away down the coast, as is Folkestone with its growing public art trail and harbour arm food trucks. The front door of this bright and airy property leads into a spacious and welcoming lounge that offers two large sofas on which to relax after a busy day. On chilly evenings, light the wood burner and curl up in front of the Smart TV to catch up on your favourite programmes or listen to some music on the SONOS Speaker. Double doors open into the bright kitchen/diner, overlooking the coastal garden with a large vintage dining table and seating for all the family.
