Follow the coastal path, passed the scenic golf course, to Seahouses to enjoy a boat trip to see puffins and seals on the Farne Islands (the harbour is 2.3 miles away), or head to Bamburgh s fabulous beach and castle (5.4 miles). Walking south you will discover Dunstanburgh Castle (9 miles), Embleton Beach (6 miles), and Low Newton (6 miles) where a drink and lunch in the beachside pub beckons, while a short drive inland takes you to Alnwick Castle (13.4 miles). Access to this beautifully presented property is via the garden gate and through the large, enclosed garden to the conservatory. Here, you can hang up your outdoor gear and leave your shoes, before finding a comfortable corner sofa in which to relax in. Mornings can be spent overlooking the garden with a book and your coffee in hand.
