Threlkeld village is set at the foot of Blencathra with its pubs, golf course and cricket club, it is just over a mile away. Why not try some of the Gins on offer at the Lakes distillery or if you prefer something a bit more energetic visit Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake, enjoy some water sports or a cruise. There are so many activities locally, including indoor climbing, horse trekking, and Alpaca walking. This pretty, well equipped shepherd hut is open plan with a double bed, wall mounted TV, breakfast bar/dining area and French doors looking out over the Fells. The cute bijou kitchen area is perfectly equipped to rustle up a nice breakfast or romantic dinner with a microwave and fridge. There is a shower room with WC off the main living space. Head outside you will find a private seating area to the front of the property overlooking the fells which is just the best place to read a good book or enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring.
