Head out from the cottage to follow a myriad of footpaths or walk beside the River Esk, stopping to paddle or swim as you go. Stroll less than 0.25 miles to the station to catch a train on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, taking you 7 miles through spectacular scenery to Ravenglass on the coast. Visit Muncaster Castle and walk on the beach while you are here. Climb Scafell Pike, England s highest peak, 4 miles from the cottage, and head to Ambleside, 15 miles away, to shop and dine out. Open the door on to this charming cottage to find beautifully decorated accommodation.
