If you fancy a game of golf, take to the green at Eskdale Golf Course, a 4 mile trip from home. Hop on a steam train for a family friendly day out and jump off at Boot (less than a mile) where you can tuck into tasty meals before walking home. Step up to the lovely veranda and head inside to settle down. The open plan living space with kitchen/lounge/diner welcomes you to make yourselves at home and is warmed by a roaring wood burner. Start your day with a coffee on the veranda before wandering the lovely grounds and the pond (take care by the water).
