Potter around the coastal village and Roman port of Ravenglass (5 miles) with its natural harbour, shops, cafes and pubs. Hop on the La al Ratty Heritage Steam Railway here which runs for 7 miles through the Eskdale Valley to Dalegarth (5.5 miles), near Eskdale Mill and the charming village of Boot (6 miles).
