Keen walkers can embark on the Newlands Horseshoe which includes the six summits of Catbells, Maiden Moor, High Spy, Dalehead, Hindscarth and Robinson. For a gentle stroll, lakeside picnic or some family kayaking, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake are both roughly 5 miles away. Keswick is just 3 miles away with plenty of shops and eateries as well as its renowned Theatre by the Lake. Enter into the welcoming sitting room with slate flooring and a cosy wood burner set in a stone fireplace which keeps both the sitting room and the dining room warm.
