Keswick is within 3 miles and has a varied array of independent shops, eateries and galleries all on the banks of Lake Derwentwater. Take an underground tour at Honister Slate Mine, 14 miles away, and tackle the Via Ferrata, or try the Catbells Lakeland Walk, 5 miles away. The Forest of Whinlatter is 2 miles away and has a variety of mountain bike trails or you can attempt the high ropes at Go Ape! Inside, the open plan kitchen and dining area is bright with cream walls complemented by warm wooden floors. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, single oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and the dining area has French doors that open to the patio, allowing you to dine with the fresh air breezing in. There is also a handy utility room. Located on the ground floor is the large, family bathroom which has a shower over the bath. The master, king size bedroom is serene in cream with pretty textiles. Making the most of the beautiful surroundings, the living room is located on the first floor, with windows to all sides offering views to the Skiddaw range and the Coledale fells. Spacious and bright during the day, it becomes cosy at night and perfect for relaxing on the comfortable corner sofa with a good book or a Netflix film on the TV. There is a cloakroom with a WC and washbasin just off the living room. Also on the first floor are a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. Outside, the east facing, enclosed, side yard is secure for dogs and ideal for taking breakfast outside in the summer, waking up with an al fresco coffee.
