Accommodation Details
4 bedrooms 2 king size, 1 twin (from January 2023 this will be a king size) and 1 ground floor single. 2 bathrooms 1 bathroom with bath and handheld shower plus WC, 1 ground floor en suite shower room in single room with shower seat, grab rails and WC (guests must have sufficient mobility to move from their chair to the seat as there is a step into the shower). Electric oven with ceramic hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. Utility cupboard with tumble dryer, iron, ironing board. Open fire (coal provided). TV/DVD in lounge, TV in single bedroom. Wi Fi available. Towels not provided. Enclosed garden with garden furniture. Off road parking for 3 cars in the courtyard at the back of the property. Covered bike storage available (to be arranged with farmer). Sleeps up to 6 adults and 1 child, please contact us if you would like to book for 7 guests. Phone signal available if you have 4G. Wheelchair friendly path to nearby Brotherswater. Shops within 2.5 miles, pub half a mile. Please note: 2023 Christmas bookings will be the 21st December arrival and for New years bookings will be the 28th December.

Jump on and off and explore the National Trust s Aira Force waterfall which sits amongst ancient woodland. If you re a keen cyclist, Kirkstone Pass is a great place to visit, the heart of which is 4.5 miles away. The strenuous climbing sections are rewarded with spectacular mountain views and you can enjoy something to eat at the inn near the summit. If you re into completing Wainwrights, this is the perfect home for you! Head straight from your door and onto the 7.5 mile Dovedale Horseshoe walk. Sitting on a working farm, this Grade I listed cottage is full of country charm and character. Head through the courtyard and into the kitchen which boasts a magnificent view and is brimming with farmhouse charm. Find a large electric range oven with ceramic hobs, a microwave and fridge/freezer, and a dishwasher and washing machine. Make use of the handy utility room where you can find the tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Dine together at the table before heading over to the inviting lounge where you can spend sociable evenings relaxing in front of the open fire. This dual aspect room is flooded with natural light and adorned with local art. Play board games and enjoy a competitive night, put on your favourite TV programme, or choose a DVD for a film night on the sofa. The ground floor single bedroom has a TV and door to the patio, plus an en suite shower room and WC.The shower has a seat, and the room has handles placed throughout which may suit guests with limited mobility. Please note there is a step up into the shower. The three remaining bedrooms are located off the stepped landing on the first floor. When it s time for bed, climb stairs and settle down in the king size master bedroom, the second king size room or the twin, all with storage for your belongings. From January 2023 the twin room will become a third king size bedroom. All first floor bedrooms have lovely views and share the family bathroom with bath, shower attachment and WC, where you can start your day with a relaxing soak. Take your morning brew outside; accessed via the kitchen or the ground floor bedroom, the enclosed garden has a pretty patio and far reaching views to admire.
