Other local attractions include The World of Beatrix Potter in nearby Bowness on Windermere (1 mile), the Lakes Aquarium at the southern tip of Windermere (10 miles) and Brockhole on Windermere (2.5 miles), which is home to a historic house and gardens, with plenty of activities including a treetop trek, boating, kayaking, archery and mini golf.
