It is suitable for emails and social media, but may not be adequate for streaming. Also the thickness of the 18th century internal walls mean that internet is only available downstairs.. Partially enclosed garden with outdoor furniture. Please note that there is no footpath from the cottage nor direct access to the lake. Off road parking for 2 cars. Two shared electric vehicle charging points available for no additional charge. Shared electric charging station. 1 dog welcome. Complex of properties. Can be booked alongside neighbouring cottages. The lively market town of Keswick (4 miles) overlooks Derwentwater and has a variety of fantastic restaurants, shops, pubs and popular tourist attractions including Derwent Pencil Museum, Puzzling Place, the Theatre by the Lake, Keswick Adventure Centre and the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle. Walkers, hikers and nature lovers can explore Carl Side, Ullock Pike, Skiddaw and Longlands Fell (all within 7 miles). Entering this pretty cottage, which retains a number of original features including exposed ceiling beams and wooden doors, you will find the bright and welcoming lounge/diner. This is a lovely space to relax in, with comfortable seating, TV, wood burner effect electric fire and a sociable dining area. The light and airy kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. Upstairs, the first floor features two cosy bedrooms. The first is the king size master bedroom which looks out over the fields towards the fells in the distance. The second is a charming single room please note this room has a low sloping ceiling. An additional folding bed is available on request for the single room. There s also a stylish bathroom upstairs, complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Stepping outside, the lovely grassy garden has fantastic views of the lake and the surrounding fells. With plenty of space for children and dogs to play, the garden also features outdoor furniture so you can sit back with a glass of wine in the evening. Parking is available for two cars in the car park plus an electric charging station which is shared with the two other properties on site..
