The villages of Windermere and Bowness (6 miles) sit on the edge of the lake and are home to attractions including The World of Beatrix Potter, Windermere Jetty Museum and Brant Fell Viewpoint, with plenty of activities to take part in including kayaking, canoeing and boat cruises. Heading into Kendal, attractions include the medieval castle ruins and the popular Brewery Arts Centre. Entering this characterful and stylishly updated cottage, the porch is useful for leaving coats and boots, and has a hot and cold doggy shower for washing muddy paws. Inside the cottage, the dining room provides a sociable spot for enjoying a meal or for planning the day s adventures. Please note that, due to the age of the property, there are some lower doorways and beams upstairs. Bi fold doors lead from the lounge out into the delightful back garden which comprises a patio with a choice of outdoor furniture, making an ideal spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
