Beautiful walks through scenic farmland and woodland are on the doorstep and the nearby seaside town of Sidmouth, known for its timeless charm and festivals is a short drive away beneath the distinctive red cliffs and green hills of the Sid Valley. Close by is the River Otter which meanders its way via Ottery St Mary down to the estuary in Budleigh Salterton and is a good place to spot wildlife including kingfishers, otters and even beavers. The entrance to the gypsy wagon is via decked steps from ground level up to the door and consists of an open sleeping area with a wood burner as the central focal point to keep you toasty and warm. There is a raised double bed, with two additional single beds available upon request, and a seating area which is perfect for relaxing in front of the wood burner and taking in the countryside views. The compact kitchen is located just outside the gypsy wagon and contains a gas stove and sink. Follow the path through the adjacent woodland to a dedicated shower cubicle and WC to ensure you have home comforts, even if off grid. Outside there is a large open area and undercover seating, perfect for enjoying a drink in the summer sun. For cooler evenings, a fire pit ensures you keep warm whilst watching the stars above.
