Ulverston Safari Zoo (11 miles) is a must for all ages, or why not head south to the coast for a day at the seaside. Just a few miles away from neighbouring village Newby Bridge is the southern tip of Windermere, England s longest lake and a hugely popular Lake District destination at Lakeside (3 miles). Hop aboard a vessel with Windermere Steamers for a tranquil and relaxed exploration of the water and head up to Bowness (9 miles) or Ambleside (14.5 miles). Walking into this traditional Lakeland property you will feel relaxed and ready for your holiday. First is the porch area, perfect for those muddy boots and for hanging your coats and dog gear. The open plan living area is the hub of the house with three sofas surrounding the wood burner and Smart TV, with Sky TV and BT sports. It is the perfect base to chill and relax after a day exploring this picturesque region. The dining area is equipped with oak table and chairs and has plenty of space for a family feast.
