The beach is known for rock pooling, picnics in the sand dunes, and many water sports. Take kite, paddle, and windsurfing lessons or, just sit back and watch. The coastal path leads north to Seahouses harbour village, boat trips to the Farne Islands, and beautiful Bamburgh Castle (5 miles). Head south to Low Newton (5 miles) for a drink in the microbrewery pub. Play golf at Embleton (5 miles) and visit nearby Alnwick Castle and Gardens (13 miles). Access to this welcoming property for four is via a small step down from the courtyard and through the front door.
