The Globe in Hay hosts a vibrant calendar of arts events that runs throughout the year. The town of Hay is set on the banks of the River Wye where you can enjoy paddling at the Warren, the riverside meadow, or hire a kayak further down the river at Glasbury (3.5 miles). Walkers and cyclists will want to head to the Brecon Beacons National Park, which is 22.5 miles away, where there are plenty of rambling routes and places to explore by bike.
