Take one of the boat trips over to Lundy island and spot the puffins or go on a fishing trip along the stunning coastline where you will see lots of sea wildlife. Woolacombe is only 5 miles away and has 3 miles of sandy beach and is excellent for families and surfers. Only 9 miles away is the famous Exmoor National Park with its dramatic moorland, woodland walks and wildlife such as the Exmoor ponies. The cottage is also close to a clay pigeon shooting ground for a wonderful day out. Step inside to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its spacious beamed ceiling and underfloor heating to keep you warm on the cooler evenings. With sumptuous sofas and a Smart TV, you can sit and enjoy a favourite movie here after a busy day out having fun with the family and friends. Also in this light and airy room is the dining area, where you can sit and plan your fun filled days ahead over a breakfast made in the kitchen, which offers everything that you need, including an electric oven and hob, microwave dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. On the ground floor are two of the three bedrooms, both super king rooms (which can be made into zip and link if requested at time of booking) and there is also a downstairs WC. On the first floor is a super king bedroom with an en suite with a shower and WC. There is also a family bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC. To the side of the barn is a patio area and a charcoal BBQ to dine alfresco on the lovely warm evenings while watching the sunsets. There is farmland where you are free to roam or take your four legged friends for a walk. There is also a games room that is shared with the other two cottages.
