This was one of Wordsworth's favourite walks and offers views of Ullswater and Helvellyn. If you don t want to venture far there are lovely walks from your front door and lots of opportunities to go cycling along quiet country roads. There are other pretty villages with country pubs within a few miles so bring your walking boots and grab a good pub lunch! The train station at Penrith (4 miles) has a direct service into Glasgow and Edinburgh to enjoy a day out shopping or exploring the galleries and museums. Located in a pretty courtyard, as you enter the two storey apartment you will find a lobby which is the perfect place for coats and shoes, there is also a separate WC on the ground floor. The ground floor is bright and spacious, with contemporary styling. Head up a couple of steps into the stylish open plan kitchen/dining area, the kitchen is well equipped and features an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher, and microwave. The dining area offers a great space to enjoy breakfast or simply a coffee and make plans for the days ahead. Head up the stairs to the first floor and you are sure to be blown away, the large open plan loft conversion has lots of original features such as stone walls and huge beams mixed together with quirky styling. There is a king size bedroom area, lounge with a wall mounted Smart TV, and an entertainment area with a football table, swing, and roll top bath. Enter the bathroom through the saloon doors, you will find a beautifully stylish shower room with a long sink, large walk in shower, and WC. This place has it all and you will find it hard to pull yourself away, it's the perfect couples retreat! Although there is no private garden there is a bistro table and chairs at the front of the property which overlooks a quiet grassed courtyard.
