The North York Moors Steam Railway is a must see, taking you all the way to the coastal town of Whitby (22 miles) whilst passing some of the most scenic landscapes. Whitby offers a traditional seaside experience, home to a beautiful beach, historic wonders such as the Whitby Museum and the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, and the famed 199 steps leading to the imposing Whitby Abbey. Step inside this cosy cottage and into a welcoming open plan lounge/dining area that opens to the spacious kitchen.
