Keswick is only 14 miles away and hosts the popular Mountain Festival annually with some world class sports, outdoor activities, talks and films, as well as live music. Whinlatter Forest is only 7 miles away why not visit Go Ape or hire bikes and explore the forest trails? For something a little different, walk an alpaca or abseil 120ft into a disused quarry.
