Attempt the impressive fell of Helvellyn (16 miles); a stunning peak to satisfy even the expert hiker. You may prefer to explore the quieter Eden Valley, which is on your doorstep, or Lowther Castle (3 miles) the castle and gardens are a sight to behold. As you enter the property you will find yourself in the cosy open plan lounge and kitchen. There is a comfy sofa to kick back and relax after a day out exploring, where you can catch up on a series on your Netflix account on the Smart TV. In the kitchen, there is a two ring electric hob, microwave, and fridge with a freezer compartment. Rustle up some breakfast or a picnic to take out for the day. If you don't fancy cooking, however, you can stroll 500 yards to the local pub for an evening meal.
