The village has two village greens, and a river running alongside, making it a popular picnic spot in the summer months. To the north of the village, the view is dominated by Roseberry Topping. There is a good range of shops, restaurants, pubs, and takeaways. Around the village are several interesting walks, and Great Ayton makes a great base for walkers wishing to explore the stunning countryside. A little further away is Stokesley (4.8 miles), an attractive market town with a variety of pubs, and restaurants with take away options. Head into this lovely cottage via the rear boot room area. Inside, the owners have completely renovated the property into a stylish and contemporary holiday home for friends and families seeking an escape to the countryside. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you could need to rustle up delicious meals including an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave, while the dining area provides the space to enjoy your meals over a well deserved glass of wine.
