This retreat is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park which is the perfect place to enjoy long walks and leisurely bike rides the High Peak and Tissington Trail are both within 3 miles, and offer cycle hire. Carsington Water is perfect for sailing and water sports and situated 15 miles away. Chatsworth (15 miles), the medieval Haddon Hall (12 miles) and Alton Towers (15 miles) are well worth a visit. Buxton, renowned for its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, is 11 miles away. External steps lead to the impressive front door and into a welcoming porch, offering space to store your coats and boots, then wander through into the impressive open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which will be sure to impress. The kitchen offers two electric double ovens, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and wine fridge with beautiful worktop and units. Come together and enjoy a memorable holiday meal around the dining table with traditional church seating for added charm.
