The traditional town of Swanage (9 miles) has a popular sandy beach and a great selection of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants; Corfe Castle (4.5 miles) is home to castle ruins cared for by the National Trust; and Monkey World, The Tank Museum and RSPB Arne are all withing 7 miles. On the coast, Studland (9.5 miles), Lulworth Cove, and Durdle Door are all worth a visit and are within 10 miles. Walkers can easily access Wareham Forest, Ballard Down, and Durlston Country Park (all within 11 miles).
