Stroll less than half a mile along to the promenade past Wildersmouth Beach which will bring you to the shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, and galleries, all set along the way towards Damien Hirst's famous 'Verity' sculpture at the harbour s entrance. With a cinema, theatre, amusements, and swimming pool, Ilfracombe has plenty on its doorstep to keep you busy. Further afield is a selection of golden sand surfing beaches, Woolacombe 6 miles and Saunton Sands of Braunton 10 miles.
