The splendid Ayrshire coastline and countryside is a paradise for walkers, cyclists, and hikers with numerous coastal trails and country tracks to explore. Golfers are also well catered for with the championship courses of Turnberry, Prestwick, and Royal Troon within 13 miles. Visit an array of historic castles and houses including Culzean, Dumfries House, Dundonald, and Dean, all within 15 miles. The nearby village of Alloway (5 miles) is best known as the birthplace of Robert Burns and the setting for his poems, here you can visit the charming thatched cottage, museum, and monument and take a walk over the cobbled Brig o Doon Enter this characterful property into the hall and head through to the spacious lounge with its bay window with seating overlooking the loch, relax on the comfortable sofas after a day out exploring the beautiful local area and watch a movie on the TV or listen to music on the sound bar, and on those cooler evenings, enjoy cosy nights in front of the roaring open fire.
