Bury St Edmunds (11.5 miles) is a charming town with many shops and eateries, in addition to a cathedral, an abbey, a theatre, and a brewery with tours. The National Trust property Ickworth House is also worth visiting (14 miles). After entering this tastefully decorated Grade ll listed cottage, you find the reception room where you can remove your coats and shoes.
