Chatsworth (15 miles), the medieval Haddon Hall (12 miles) and Alton Towers (15 miles) are well worth a visit. Buxton, renowned for its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, is 11 miles away. Some of the best walks in Derbyshire can be found to pass through the village so don t forget your walking boots.
