The High Peak and Tissington Trail are both within 3 miles, and offer cycle hire. Carsington Water is perfect for sailing and water sports and situated 15 miles away. Chatsworth (15 miles), the medieval Haddon Hall (12 miles) and Alton Towers (15 miles) are well worth a visit. Buxton, renowned for its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, is 11 miles away. Some of the best walks in Derbyshire can be found to pass through the village so don t forget your walking boots. The spacious lounge has many charming features such as imposing inglenook fireplace and original stone mullion windows and beams. There is a Smart TV and plenty comfy seating to relax after a day hiking the hills. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with all you need to rustle up a meal during your stay and nearby dining table for that special celebration meal. There are three bedrooms upstairs, all of which have their own en suites and are complimented with traditional furniture and pretty soft furnishings.
