  • "Thank you for a fantastic stay!"

This was one of the cosiest homes I've stayed in and everything was perfect! We loved the open fire and outdoor area and we managed to cook meals for 10 people in the kitchen (which is often very difficult). The beds were comfy and Michael gave us all the information we needed for the heating system and hot water. Wifi was available outside the cottage but it was a welcome break to not be connected inside! I would highly recommend booking a stay!

Where you’ll be staying

KINVARA, COUNTY GALWAY

Galway City 18 miles; Burren National Park 19 miles.

A picturesque seaside village in south County Galway, Kinvara is located on the edge of the world renowned "Burren" on Galway Bay. The entrance into Kinvara is marked by Dunguaire Castle, where medieval banquets are still hosted, and the quaint harbour still holds working examples of 'Galway Hookers', the majestic sailing craft which used to sell their wares between Connemara & Kinvara. Home to numerous pubs, shops and eateries, with a renowned farmer’s market every Friday and hosting two festivals celebrating culture and heritage each year, there is no shortage of things to do here. The small city of Galway, affectionately known as the “city of festivals”, with its pretty alleyways and colourful nightlife is within easy reach, and 7 miles away is the Burren National Park and Nature Reserve where animals and plant life are abundant, and there are numerous walking opportunities. A wonderful location, at any time of the year.
