The pretty West Dorset seaside town of Lyme Regis is about 3.5 miles to the south and the attractive East Devon market town of Axminster, home to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's popular River Cottage shop and restaurant, is about 4.5 miles to the west. Walkers will be drawn to this wonderful location with a wealth of walking countryside, including quiet laneways to Charmouth Woods and the Marshwood Vale right on the doorstep, and access to the beautiful South West Coastal footpath only a few miles away.
