There is also a source of refreshing natural spring water available for public use close to the property.
Loved the cottage, very well equipped. A great part of the country, beautiful countryside, we had some great walks, would love to come again.

It has an open fireplace which makes it a cosy winter retreat, a good selection of local interest books plus novels, all contributing to create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere in which to relax any time of the year. Nearby Kingsbridge offers a wide choice of shopping facilities with a good range of specialist shops and supermarkets on the outskirts of the town. The village has a friendly Inn, Post Office & general store and a 14th century Church all within easy walking distance. Loddiswell is surrounded by unspoilt rolling countryside with several interesting walks, one of the most notable being along the old Great Western Railway's Primrose line following the river Avon, closed in 1963. A license can be obtained for fishing from the Post Office. The village is also within easy reach of the beautiful coastline, beaches and estuaries of the South Hams and Dartmoor National Park is only a 25 minutes drive away. There is also a source of refreshing natural spring water available for public use close to the property.

Tiled entrance hallway. Cosy sitting room with sofas and armchairs, open fireplace with provision of logs and coal, together with an electric fire and TV with Freeview and DVD. Kitchen/diner with electric cooker, fridge with ice box, microwave, small washing machine, tumble dryer and dining area with a pine table with seating for 5. Stairs up to first floor landing to a double bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed, a twin room with two 2ft 6in beds and a single bedroom with 3ft bed. Large bathroom with bath with power shower over and also hand held shower, hand basin, WC, shaver point and electric towel rail.
Outside:
There is a small rear enclosed walled garden accessed from the kitchen, with a mixture of lawn and paving and equipped with garden furniture.
Parking:
At the front of the property there is off road parking for two cars.
