Steps lead down from the parking bay to the back door, which opens out into a spacious living room with windows and glazed door all overlooking the lovely views. The sitting area has polished wood flooring with rugs and comfortable sofas, TV with Freeview, video recorder/DVD/CD player, a wood burner set in a small hearth, and dining table to seat 4. The kitchen is well equipped with good range of fitted units, electric hob, built-in electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Open-tread stairs lead up to the landing. The double bedroom with 5ft bed has good views and a door giving access to the lane and parking bay. Twin bedroom (3ft beds). The bathroom between the two rooms has bath, shower over, basin and WC.
Outside:
A private drive leads up to the barns, the majority of which are residential, and the cottage has its own parking bay alongside the drive. The very pretty gardens at the front and rear of the cottage, both with patio areas and supplied with table and chairs, are landscaped and make the most of the lovely surroundings. The climbing roses on the cottage and the roses round the patio areas are at their best from the end of May through June with the scent of roses on warm afternoons.
