Flat 25 is located on the top floor of the development, with wonderful panoramic sea views, over the beach and towards Burgh Island. Accessed directly from the private parking area to the rear of the development, with a secure outer door leading into a lobby area and a further private entrance, this pleasant apartment offers accommodation all on one level. The open-plan living space is cleverly arranged and furnished to ensure the spectacular views can be enjoyed at all times. There is a well equipped kitchen, an oak dining table - positioned to take in the view - seating six comfortably, and a sitting area with three comfortable cream sofas and a wall mounted TV. Sliding French doors lead out to a south facing private balcony, where you can relax and overlook the sea and sandy beach, or dine al fresco on the table and chairs provided. Ideal for a family or two couples, the master bedroom has a King-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower, whilst the second room has two single beds and an en suite shower room. All guests receive free membership to the newly refurbished Burgh Island Causeway Leisure Club. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, spa pool, well equipped gymnasium and sauna.
Bigbury-on-Sea is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is the perfect destination for a beach holiday. Dusted with sand and lapped by shallow waters, the beach offers safe fun for groups and children, with the well-known Discovery Surf School offering surfing and stand up paddleboarding lessons for all ages and abilities. In addition, Bigbury-on-Sea beach is lined with rock pools, so there’s plenty of entertainment for budding marine biologists. Windsurfing and kite-surfing are popular here, with hire facilities located right on the beach. Offering peace of mind, there are lifeguards present at Bigbury-on-Sea beach during the summer months (May to September) and the beach also has a first-aid room. However, when the tide is in you can still reach the island by hitching a ride on the unique ‘sea tractor’. Burgh Island boasts an Art Deco hotel, which was the setting for a famous novel by Agatha Christie. Explore the South Devon coast with its breathtaking sandy beaches and its beautiful coastal path or simply take time to visit some of the charming estuary towns and villages dotted throughout the area, such as Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth.
